I cannot beleive the mayor of NOLA crying because the Fed Govt was slow to help the people that he failed to evacuate. More than 300 school buses we permitted to sit on a lot and get flooded when.... let's see 300 buses x about 60 people per bus... that's 18,000 people per trip he could have taken out of town every 3-4hours, but he's like all the rest - expect Uncle Sam to help!

FYI - there a a whole lot of Lakehouse owners that have loaned their lake places to friends and relatives from the Gulf. What a great idea! There's been several folks come by the marina wanting to use our fax and Internet hookups to attempt to contact FEMA, etc. They really have some terrible firsthand stories to tell. God Bless Them!
