You missed the point.... During a BUSY week, steel the gas first. Then put water back in the tank. The boat will NOT run and therefore must be taken to a shop. Shops at Lake Martin and everywhere else are backed up. The boat will NOT be looked at for a couple of weeks because of backlog. That buys the gas thiefs time, so that they can do it for several days without detection or discovery. (I think I busted there azz) Just sayin. If you think about it, it is somewhat clever on there part~! You got to agree with that. Remember, CAT is always thinkin', lol. BUT, our policy at Cathouse Marine is somewhat different, and that is why I made the post. Not long after you leave your boat with us, we poke around just to kinda get a general idea as to what is going on. Especially if we just worked on the boat. All of these boats, at this point were from Hwy 34 area (both sides) and Stillwaters area. One was very close by your home. I only get to see a few of the boats, and have no idea how many may be in line at other shops. Although I spent the day at Prattville store today, Steven told me that he wrote many repair orders today, and I will check those out when I return to Cathouse Lake Martin on Tuesday. I'll let yall know. And, as far as the Sheriffs office goes, I am no investigater, but will gather information and knowledge. OSMS, you know everyone in your area, so let them know to be on the lookout.
Respectfully, Steve
