Hi,

Me and my brother went to Coffeen lake May 6 {Friday}...We arrived at Coffeen at about 6am...We tried the campground cove first for some cats...Only caught one small cat....Seems like there is a lot vegetation in that cove..I have found it better that you use a cork and suspend the bait over the vegetation...If you fish on the bottom there you will get wrapped around it....Well, we went from there to the dam at the hotwater end....We did really well there...We ended catching about 15 catfish down there...Five of them we threw back in.....It was a pretty good day...My brother caught a small bass on a plastic worm...I probably will head back out there this weekend coming up....They where hitting really good on sunny's dip bait and geno's...
