They didn't really cut the cost.  Instead they offered a coupon, for those that aren't covered by any government medical program.  I was speaking to a Dr. friend the other day.  She said the medicine in the Epipen is very cheap.  One could ask their Dr. for a prescription for the medicine, buy some syringes and it would be very cheap.  But instead, the epipen provides convenience,and is easier for kids to use.  So basically, one is paying for the housing.  How much is a plastic housing worth? 

I don't think they offered the coupon because of Hilary or SJP, but rather because the CEO was under fire, and was being confronted to her face.  the coupon makes it look like they are doing something.  But the CEO is smiling all the way to the bank.
