I used to feel sorry for her because of the obvious child abuse by her parents.  But I am beginning to think she is clinically insane.  She is a classic megalomaniac with delusions of granduer and a smattering of paranoia.  Tell me in what sane world does a 17-year old Asbergers middle school dropout have the belief that she can lecture world leaders on what they should and shouldn't do?  She is completely and utterly unhinged.  I am willing to bet if you told her she could control the world she would quite literally stop the use of fossil fuels and hundreds of millions of people would be dead in 6 months to a year.  She is, to coin some common phrases, bonkers...nutso, whacked out,  several bricks shy of a full load and so on.  God save us from people like her........  A relevant and obvious uttering from a completely insane person.

“Planting trees is good, of course, but it’s nowhere near enough of what is needed and it cannot replace real mitigation and rewilding nature,” Thunberg continued. “Let’s be clear. We don’t need a ‘low carbon economy.’ We don’t need to ‘lower emissions.’ Our emissions have to stop if we are to have a chance to stay below the 1.5-degree target. And, until we have the technologies that at scale can put our emissions to minus, then we must forget about net zero. We need real zero.”

And she said she wasn't asking them to change, she was telling them to change......a 17-year old middle school dropout. And the only thing more insane than her utterings is that adults listen to them without laughing derisively.
