How far up Little Kowaliga?  I am up past Real Island, and stripers are not common that far uplake.  White bass are common, but I have caught a grand total of two stripers in my home waters.  However, there have been times when I have seen a boat just park on one spot in the middle of the lake for hours. They were either after crappie or stripes.
