I sent a letter yesterday explaining my concern for the issues at the Post Office and prescription delivery for those homebound. Here is the response I just received.....he is a Republican I can support.....

As the United States works to confront the coronavirus pandemic, it is critically important that the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) has the resources it needs to deliver the mail on time to the American people. Families, senior citizens, and businesses across the country rely on the USPS and its employees to deliver critical and potentially life-saving medications, bills and food. 

That’s why I supported the CARES Act, which provided the USPS with $10 billion in emergency borrowing authority from the federal government. 

We need a viable Postal Service in Florida and across our entire nation. This important institution connects us with our family members, friends, neighbors, and coworkers every single day. 

I hope this issue will be looked at and addressed in the next coronavirus relief package considered by Congress to ensure the long-term success and viability of our national postal system.
