Announced today that these will be changing their name, to appease "racist" concerns.  I have bought all those things at one time or another, and I can honestly say that I have never given a thought to the image on the package.  Now the case with Aunt Jemima is sad - After slavery, she was a cook for a judge and he introduced her to an executive at General Mills.  They took her recipe and her image and never paid her a dime, likely taking advantage of her being illiterate and black.  Her grandson's tried to file a $2M lawsuit, but the case was thrown out of court.  Aunt Jemima died back in the 1920s.

This is what I mean about some black people only seeing things through the prism of racism.  And I have to say I find it amusing that all these companies are jumping on the BLM bandwagon.  If they were really concerned about black people, they could contribute funds to educational institutions to create opportunities for the poor and disinfranchised.  As far as I know. BLM is not giving money to black communities, black colleges or anywhere other than the Democratic party.
