Serving wasn't a sacrifice for me and I doubt most military folks feel like it is in this day and age....at least that's the case since the draft ended. I knew the score, the risk, and it was my choice.Yes, those drafted before my time truly did make a sacrifice. All most military folks want is support from from the American people for what they do, and it makes me feel good when folks acknowledge service to our country. Thanks.
