I am 81 years old and have been an Alabama fan and supporter since childhood. In my younger years my wife and two young sons followed the team all over the South, and when I bought a new van, we traveled to see them defeat Penn State in a crucial game many years ago. At one time we were on our way to Texas A&M when we heard on the radio that the game had been cancelled due to "tornado warnings". You did a good job acknowledging his coaching tenure at Alabama, noting that both he and his wife Terry are very involved in so much more than just "football" at the University and the city of Tuscaloosa. He cares about his players and has been instrumental in the development of young athletes, leading many to successful careers in football and providing means for them to become successful professional athletes as well as preparing them to become vauled members of "society".
