I am not quite sure that I understand the gist of your question Archie.  If you want my opinion of Dr. Birx, she has a full cohort of academic qualifications and epidemiological experience.  Early on, the medical community knew how various Corona viruses behaved, but not this one.  The healthcare community was pretty much in the dark until more clinical experience was gained by not only academic institutions, but also those in private practices.  Alot has been learned about this virus.  Alot has been learned about what works and what does not.  I have not seen alot of flexibility with Birx as of late, and that concerns me.  But this is what bureaucrats are known for.  She is auditioning for a position with the Biden administration, so therefore, she cannot come off her lockdown stance.  

So bottom line, I have not followed what Birx or Fauci have said for months now.  They have become irrelevant in my opinion.  If she continues to advocate for anything that Trump disagrees with, I am sure the MSM will give her the platform.  Bottom line Archie, you do what you believe protects YOU, following the advice of those you respect.  I will continue to do the same for myself.  Enough information is out there, you just have to ferret out the bureaucratic non-sense and follow the science.  Good luck and I hope you stay healthy.
