I think a lot of people were tired of the PC world that had been imposed on us.  Also, anyone paying attention can see that the economy is whimpering.  Trump spoke to a lot of feelings that people had for a while now.  Liberals like to believe that racist bigots were the primary people who voted Trump in; but I don't think that is the truth. Most of us felt that we couldn't survive another 4/8 years of liberal nonsense. 

I think the most eye opening thing for me is what a weak generation is coming behind us.
