You mentioned in another post this morning that you have running lights, I assume along the sides.  If they are out on the right as well then it prolly isn't a ground.  If only the rear red-lens stop/turn/running light fixture, that fixture might have a ground problem. Sounds like the right side brown and green wires might be "open" somewhere between the connector and the lights.
