Thanks, Dick, for the testing that yall do for lake water quality.  I agree that the algae is a thing to deal with each year.  I keep a good push broom at my pier to keep the steps from being slippery, and try to pressure wash when the water goes down.  There have been forum posts about the clarity of the water the last couple of years.  At the end of my pier, at water 10 ft, I cannot see toward the bottom of the lake like I used to.  Perhaps it is my garden on my little pier that is causing the problem. I know I do not fertilize the yard like I should.  And I am not in a relatively small slough.  Maybe it is the boat traffice to The Landing

Still water is fantastic and I know some slime is a part of lake life, like snakes, fish frys, and fun.
