I don't know how much I pay for the land line because it is billed with my cell service.  But the whole bill is only $100 and that involves to cell phones.  It was much, much cheaper than what I was paying AT&T for a land line.  The only problem I had when I switched was that the alarm system needed some adjustment and that cost a bit. 

the only thing with Charter is that they bring you on with a good rate, but soon that "expires" and you are paying a higher rate.  With internet and TV, and basic + cable, my bill runs around $170 a month.
