i just finished one and set the bottom of the joists 1/8th inch above 490. you can call 1-800 lakes 11 and they will give you current elevations for that exact moment. as we were building, we checked it several times over a 2 day period because the water was coming up fast at that time. each time, it checked out exactly correct with our 490 calculated benchmark. it sure helps to have a surveyor dad.
