Arch, You seemed to have totally missed my point. The way illegals are flooding into this country is indirect violation of our laws with at least the "approval" if not the collusion with our government. Remember the car loads of kids that disappeared with the help of the Border Patrol or ICE? Where did they go? These illegals are also unleashing disesaes that this country has been free of for many years. They are also allowed in some schools with out their shots! On and on!

   I, too, have been disappointed with the way former administrations failed to protect our borders, however, we cannot change history. We cannot justify a crime by pointing to another crime. We must now deal with the present. The failure of this president, intentional or not,  dwarfs all of his predicessors failures in spades! Anyone intentionally violating his sworn duties should be impeached!

  Passing laws to remove weapons from the law abiding will do little to inhibit the criminal or the terrorist. They are in the business of violating laws. Cops do their best but they generally get there in time to chalk the outline. Firearms are a lot like a parachute, if you need one and don't have one you probably won't need another.

   As for the NRA, I have been a life member for over 50 years. Americans have been historically self reliant - untill lately - and take care of their own problems. That is why, in their wisdom, the founding fathers gave us the 2nd as a last ditch weapon againdt tyrany. It is not about deer hunting. God bless them!
