Hate to be skeptical but we have been there, done that and have yet to see any results from these types of investigations.  Look at all the people that defied a GOP congressional committee and not even a slap on the wrist.  But defy a Dem-led one and people get indicted.  We do not have equal justice in this country and in my view nothing will come of these investigations other than a bunch of "Republicans pounce" headlines from the media.  I'm serious, they could prove beyond any doubt that DJ Brandon was the big guy, they could document the movement of money, the favors granted and all the corruption and graft and nothing will happen.  And even if by some miracle DOJ does convene a grand jury and there are indictments, as we saw with Durham there is no possible jury pool in DC that will vote to convict a Dem regardless of the evidence.

It is all for show and to throw some red meat to the base in the attempt to say they are doing something.  But what we want is justice and that is not going to happen.  Even if they vote to impeach DJ he will surely be acquitted in the Senate and unlike the narrative for Trump it will be presented by the media to low information voters as complete vindication and a travesty of justice and proof that the GOP is out of touch with the real problems of Americans.......basically a 180 degree shift from all the other events.  And then Democrats will scream abortion, racism, homophobia, eliminating social security and all their go to lies and low information voters will do what they did in 2022....vote on emotion and not facts, logic, reason, rational thought and basic common sense.
