Goofy takes the George Costanza route, it isn't a lie if you really believe it. A confessional would be a waste for someone like Goofy because you actually have to be sorry for your sins to be forgiven.

The part Goofy doesn't get is that the lies that matter are the ones that actually matter.  Like you can keep your doctor.  Or you will save $2,500 per year.  Or the truck driver drank his lunch before the accident. Or I never discussed business with my son or got a dime from his pay for play activities.  Or I was against the Iraq war.  Or his constant lies about what Trump said about the people in Charlottesville.  Or the lies about Trump not condemning white supremacy or neo nazis. Or the lie that he never said he would ban fracking despite the numerous videos of him doing exactly that.  Or the lie that he would only ban fracking on Federal lands.  Or the lie that Putin paid bounties on American soldiers.  Or the lie that not a single person lost their private health insurance due to Obamadon'tcare.  Or the lie that he never called Trump racist and xenophobic for restricting travel from China back in January.  Or the lie that he and Obama never separated children from adults at the border.  Or the lie that 38,000 people were released from Federal prison by clemency or pardon by the Obama administration (it was actually 2,000 out of the 22,000 requests).  Or the lie that he was never warned that Hunter's business activities in Ukraine, Russia and China was a potential conflict of interest problem. 

I could go on but the point is that these lies matter to real people....but because it is Dementia Joe they don't matter to Goofy.
