discussing GA's response to the Coronavirus.  He is not someone I supported and it is not likely I will support him in 2022 if I am still around.  That being said the reasonable tone and sober words coming from him is a welcome respite from the rantings from the president of the United States.  He urges citizens not to panic but that this is a serious threat and urges all to listen to and follow the recommendations of the medical community regarding the situation.

Please tell me, why do so many on this forum refuse to believe such reasoned advice and instead choose to bet your life on the words of a self serving, arrogant and narcissistic politician who doesn't know Jack about what is going on?  The fact he has an uncle who was educated at MIT does not make him an expert on anything!  Less than 2 weeks ago he assured us only 16 Americans were infected and all but one was recovering and estimated that within days the number would drop to 5.  Today we have had 26 deaths and the infected population is approaching 700.  At this rate we are on target for 5 to 9 thousand by St Patrick's Day! The Italian infection number went from 150 on Feb 24 to 10,000 today with almost 500 dead!  Yes MM, much of the increase can be attributed to more testing, but no matter how you slice it, I think any sane person would admit our ''stable genius'' leader continues to be a bit too optimistic!
