I looked at the FEMA maps for Lake Martin. According to the maps, there are VERY few properties that are in zone "A". Most are in zone "x" "X" is where you want your property to be. So there is no need to worry about any of this until you receive a letter. You can go to www.fema.com and click on the maps tab. Then type in your address. It will take you to the FEMA map of your property. You then need to see if it is located in a zone "X" area.
