I could not agree with you more. I think the only thing that might get their attention is a petition signed by the residents. It is ridiculous that they just keep patching the holes (which lasts a matter of weeks). I am the last house on my street, and the pavement has simply worn away before you get to my house. One of my neighbors had to call for 2 years for them to come out and fix the drainage ditch. I know it is a poor county and they have the "big" cities to worry about, but I suspect we don't get much attention because so many people are not full time. Coosa 20 is not that bad, but all the roads off it are terrible.
Paul Perrit ran on the ticket that he would get our roads fixed, but apparently after he got in office, he found out that it wasn't going to happen.
