More and more buoys showing up as well as extending farther and farther into lake from one's pier. Some are stretched the entire length of the lake lot. Are there any rules regarding this, any application process and what is the Marine Police and Alabama Power Co.'s position on such. Some properties have 4 to 6 big orange buoy's. Starting to look like a slalom course on some shorelines.

I have read that other lakes require an application and then the placements cannot be beyond a 30 foot radius of the pier.
