why don 't they or some ''liberal'' group do a FOIA demand for the cost accounting to the taxpayers of the vacations of W (405 days at the end of 7 of his 8 years) or Reagan (390 days) and of course Bill Clinton (174 days).  I think it might be very instructive.  Those numbers come from Dec 30, 2015 AOL News.  The same article pointed out that Obama's prevoius year's Christmas vacation to Hawaii cost a little over $8,000,000 but that about 95% of that was the cost of the R/T operation of Air Force 1.

The bottom line is, what ANY president and his family spends on vacations and how many days they are ''on vacation'' is not worthy of this discussion...in the scheme of things it is a drop in the bucket and, frankly, they deserve it.  A presidential vacation is more a change of scenery than a respite from work.  The rub for me comes because I am almost certain if and when the cost of Bush or Reagan vacations come out you will be a quiet as a church mouse if they end up having spent more taxpayer dollars than Obama but will burn up this forum if the opposite is revealed.
