are you using Divinycell or Klegecell? why use either when wood done properly is the best way to go, we have been doing transom for 25 years, 10 years in Tallassee and don't understand why you are entertaining the thought not to mention the cost of foam compared to the cost of wood because no matter what you put in foam vs wood you still have to encapsulate it in fiberglass. Wood done properly will last longer than the whole rest of the boat.
