Hi-
Sorry for the double post (other is in the 'Sports' forum), but I wanted to make sure that info about the trails at Hogan got seen.
New to the forums, but old to New Hogan Lake. We've been working on mountain bike trails up there for decades, and there's some really good riding, especially in the winter. The trails are virtually impervious to damage, due to the rocky conditions, so riding in the rain (remember rain?) won't hurt them, and it's even more fun! Summer is a different story, the heat can really get to you, so be prepared.
We have many miles of trail at Hogan, starting at the Oak Knoll campground. Trailhead starts at site #19, although you can follow the road out to Coyote Point group campground if you'd like to ride the intermediate trail.
Please check out my blog for info on the trails, maps, etc.
Thanks!
Finch
