for the economy to recover. Cable/telephone companies now are squeezed tight on money, just like you and me. They ain't got the money in the budget now to expand, much less maintain. But, just watch...
Major telephone companies have the technology at hand to deliver all satellite, cable, wideband, voice, internet, et.al. services using much of existing infrastructure. They know how to do it now, but they will not spend the bucks to do it, until the economy recovers and consumers are spending again.
