And guess what...the 1st amendment guarantees your right to free speech...it does not guarantee the right to have unlimited access to speech, or to not have a requirement for a license attached to speech, or that speech will not be subject to taxation.  None of these actions would change your right to speak but Katy bar the door if anybody suggests any of them be implemented! 

So based on your rant - you are for poll taxes since a right can be subject to taxation?  or just the 2nd?  why not the 1st?

So if its Ok for the 2nd, why not the 1st?  Go hop in line to get your permit to speak, need another one to for online, you also will need a concealed speech permit to whisper to someone, Another couple of permits to cover hand written words, one for typed and one for electronic.

If I have the money, and can pass the appropriate back ground checks required - why should I not be able to purchase a anti tank weapon?  I assume it would be much like my explosives permit that I used to have to fill out yearly for the ATFE, allow anytime/anyday inspections by ATFE, yearly background checks, fingerprinting, proper inventory as to how much of what and an appropriate storage location for said explosives.
