This could get very interesting.  You will have the Democrat nominee that will be a full tilt, batsh!t crazy socialist trying to give away everything for free and appealing to every aspect of identity politics you can imagine.  Then you will have Trump.....well, being Trump.....  And finally you have Schultz, a mishmash of bed wetting social liberal, pro-business, deficit hawk ideas and tons of cash to pay for his own run. 

One thing I can assure you of is that if Trump thinks he won't erode his vote he is mistaken.  Lots of socially liberal, fiscally conservative people voted for him against Hillary and many of them will find Schultz an attractive alternative.  Having said that, Schultz will definitely erode the Democrat's hopes in the burbs where latte drinking, college educated soccer moms went their direction in the mid-terms.  Heck, Schultz should also have a lock on the homeless and drug addicts since he opened his bathrooms to them.

I hope he runs just for the entertainment value.  And it will be interesting to see if left wing nuts put together a boycott of Starbucks.  Between that and Trump's taunting he just can't possibly back down.  Now the question is whether he ends up trying to get the Democrat nomination, especially after trashing both parties.  From the outset he has already alienated ~50% to 60% of the voting public.  We live in interesting times.
