Its the classic look over there tactic.  Oh hell I am being pounded into the earth by logic and reason - Oh your a racist, sexist, homophobe, islamaphobe, etc.  and in media circles that works because it shifts the narrative from ideas to attacks while they are on the high road.  

With me it does not work because I would not piss on these people if their hair was on fire. We all know what GF is, he is a DNC donkey through and through.  He has never passed up a republican scandal or found a democrat one he could not excuse.
