WSJ is reporting that the Navy knew on Sunday that the submersible had imploded based on sonar, but that the Biden Administration suppressed the information to keep people's attention on that and not on his son's plea deal.  

Last evening Hunter Biden was front and center at the State Dinner for the Indian Prime Minister only days after his plea deal.  Biden says he is "proud of his son".  

Meanwhile, Biden answered pre-approved questions from the media during the presser with the Indian Prime Minister - not even bothering to hide that he was reading the answers and stumbling over the words.  

And Obama is giving interviews saying that people were focused on the outcome of the submersible, instead of 700 migrants that sank in a boat headed for Greece.  Cue "we are the world".
