Mr Mackey's proposals, in my mind, stand the tests of logic and reason. I especially like the high deductible idea, especially if coupled with a Health Care Flexible Spending Account so paying for that deductible could be spread evenly throughout the year from tax-free payroll deductions.
And, he is absolutely right that many of our health problems are directly attributable to the fact that Americans eat and drink too much of the wrong things. My experience living in Turkey and Korea, and spending almost enough time in Italy to say I have lived there is that there are very few fat Turks, Koreans, or Italians.
Bravo to Mr Mackey for speaking his mind, and like Hound I do not understand why someone would boycott WF because of his views. That seems like the boycotters are cutting off their nose to spite their face, because WF is one place where you can get fresh, wholesome foods.
Reckon we are going to get some significant rain from the TD in the Gulf or the two storms in the Atlantic?
