I agree with you hound. I have not been a fan of Bush, but some of his recent interviews where he actually admitted to some mistakes, makes me like him a lot more. There has never been a president who hasn't made mistakes. The ability to look back and see things you wish you had done differently is a very human characteristic. I think Bush did some good things and some bad things. Being able to look back and see the difference makes a big impact on how I will see him in history.

Cheney shows none of this humanity. I think George W. Bush would have been a much better president if he had not had Cheney around. I think Cheney was the architect of a lot of the things that Bush will be blamed for.

Overall, Bush is a somewhat sympathetic character. I have no sympathy for Cheney.

My two cents.
