First I don't own one so this is based on all the hoopla and reading reviews and the Apple website so take it with a grain of salt. First of all I don't get the appeal although I do realize I am probably not their target demographic. To me they are really unattractive. Maybe I am missing something but it seems to me most people wear watches as a piece of jewelry that has the added benefit of giving you the time. Secondly, other than the health monitoring function does the watch have useful features that don't already come on a smart phone? Not that I can tell although I suppose its more convenient for some apps. It also seems really large.
Would be interesting to hear from any innovators out there that have bought one. The iPad I get and have several. The iPhone I also get. The watch not so much. Will be interesting to see if it has legs or peters out after the initial rush. More importantly to our culture, will Bruce Jenner get one before or after his surgery and hormone treatments and does anyone care now that he has come out of closet as a Replubican?!?!?!? OK, that last part was gratuitous and a sligh non sequitar.
