No, and what difference does it make. I know you are trying for a "gotcha" but my reference to the people who do not reflect the "will of the people" may or may not reflect the gender, income, ethnicity, or race of this forum. I have no idea (I do have my suspicions) but l do no for certain that the majority of GOP members of congress, while they may very well reflect the majority of their constituents, are not reflecting the will of the vast majority of the people of America. For that matter neither do most of the Democrats. That is the problem!! Due to the way Congressional districts are drawn in a 100% partisan fashion, most of us today are not really represented by our member of congress. I am in a district that votes 70% democratic so we are always represented by an extreme liberal. Immediately north is a district that votes 70% republican and also has a nut in congress. To ever get us back to a reasonable balance that can get something done we need reasonable members that do represent the will of the people rather than the will of the extreme base that puts them oiver the top. Salvation will have arrived when every congressional district is truly competitive!!
