In times like these, there has to be a voice, a cause, an occupy the forum movement.  Here is one attempt, a rallying call to all the forum greats.  Post Up!   And my apologies to the late John Lennon:

It's closer than you think
No chit to laugh at
Bigfoot gives no wink
Imagine all the people living on facebook

Imagine there's no lake talk
No ar-gu-ing to do
Nothing to thrill or drink for
And no 'poolaza too
Imagine all the people talking on a phone

You may say
I'm a dreamer, but I've been online
I hope some day you'll join us
And the forum will be sublime.

Imagine no discussions
I wonder if you can
No "you're wrong, I'm right"
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people liking the lake level
