Thanks Yankee- that is one of the best put thoughts on what we all should hope for with regard to law-abiding citizens that happen to be Muslim. Why isn't there a more vocal opposition of the extremists from within the Muslim world? Fear?

The cited wars for American freedom was all about fighting fear and oppression. Imagine the good that would come from all citizens fighting together and breaking down the barriers in the battle against extremists and terrorists. The generalizations of what Muslims are will continue to get worse I'm afraid.

When there are lines drawn and racial tensions exist it seems like (historically) the defensive mechanisms go up even when confronted with "evidence" supports something. OJ is a great example. While the majority of people (of all races) had to believe he did it, it was highly visible that many blacks cheered and rejoiced when OJ got off in court. That was as bad as the portion of the population that wanted OJ found guilty solely because he is black.

Why can't it just be about right and wrong, good and evil?
