They keep killing Kenny and now they have the pirate. Was he wearing an orange hoody?
In response to Lifer:
1. I did not steal the pirate. You know my boats. You know the boat in the pic is not mine.
2. If I knew who stole the pirate, I would not tell. I don't rat people out.
3. I plead "NOT GUILTY" and demand a speedy trial in the COURT OF KING DON, with a venue change from Colonel Tom's to Cat House.
4. I will pay court costs up front. (Keg of Beer and a wild boar for you to barbeque). If found guilty I will walk the plank. Don't drink too much beer, you know Brian "TEABAG" Downing lives close by.
5. If I am found not guilty you reimburse for the beer and you walk the plank.
Here are some other things I know and will not tell
1. Who tried to move Kawliga to Chimney Rock.
2. Who moved the goats from Youngs Island to Goat Island.
3. Who put the SAE Lion at Acapulco Rock.
4. Who moored the derelict "TRUST BUSTER" at the Kawliga La Quanta, blocking the good ship Monopoly.
5. Who stole the KA cannon and blew it up at the lake.
6. Who put the Shoney Big Boy on the 13 green.
7. Who hired the strippers to show up at last years Aquapaloosa.
I also know where the pirate was at the end of last summer. When the water returns to full pool I will see if he wants to go back to Pirate Island or stay on the dead man's chest. I was actually interested in this enough to follow the clues on the forum and the lake last year and find the dude. It was an interesting scavenger hunt. It should happen every year, but there should be a prize.
Something else you may be interested in knowing, many years ago a group of friends wanted to build a retaining wall around that Island and another island nearby, which is almost gone now. APCO would not permit it and said that they were required by the licensing agreement to keep that property and the rest of the shore on that side of Madwin in its natural state. They said that doing anything (probably including the pirates) would violate federal law. They told us the same thing about Bud Island.
If you can get APCO to approve, next month while I am attending Orpheus in NOLA, I can obtain all kinds of booty and a replica (currently in a real cathouse) of my great Uncle SEAMA. Uncle Seama was a notorious pirate who fought alongside the privateer, Jean Lafitte, and Andy Jackson. He would look great on the island.
