If the 97% of all scientists and over 99% of climatologists are correct about what is happening to the global climate (that's "climate", not "weather"...they are different"), and if we completely ignore climate change, it will be, in the final analysis, lot bigger problem for the entire world than a bunch of Muslim radicals ever could hope to be.
Lets be hopeful on this Thanksgiving day that the reasonable leaders of the planet are willing to find a solution to both problems.
Of course I assume you do not want your great-grandkids to celebrate Thanksgiving 2065 in the desert on the parched shore of what great-grandpa and great-grandma knew Lake Martin. Of course I may be wrong and you may be right about 2065 and climate change...but are you really willing to look your kids, grandkids and future great- grandkids in the eye and tell them its worth the gamble? While sitting around the Thanksgiving table this very day will you look each of them in the eye and tell them definitively that you are willing to bet their future for the sake of taking the "right" side of a political talking point?
