14-19 June 2011 - Lake Guntersville –We had a great week fishing Lake Guntersville with several great clients, some new and some returning. Saturday, after the storms moved through we actually saw what appeared to be two giant cat fish trying to eat one another (see photo on my website) We fished in the mid lake area; fishing road beds, shell beds, and ledges catching lots of good quality fish on every stop, working 8-12 FOW. Water temps are steady at low to mid 80’s. This week our better fish came on Lucky Craft Sammy’s and Tightline Football Head Jig’s (Guntersville Special). Most of the fish are still in the 2-3.5 pound range with a few 4-5 pound fish in the mix. If you’re going to be out on the water in this heat, please drink lots of water and use sun screen. I have days available in June and I'm already booking days for the July and August, make your reservations now for some great summer time action on Guntersville and Nickajack. We supply all fishing gear, lures, and drinking water at no additional cost to you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. Make your reservations now for some great action on Tennessee River. “Let’s go fish’ in”
