It's very interesting during a flood. Forums get active ( Like me now ) stuff floating by the pier. Have to constantly keep an eye on stuff getting jammed up under the pier for fear of damage. Just like the other day. A tree truck about 35' - 40' long stuck under the pier. Had to release it to prevent it from tearing the pier up when boats come by making a wake. I think that boats are responsible for the wake they create and the damage they cause during these types of conditions. Anyhow I can't say for sure, but out of common courtesy and respect for others property I just ease along at idle if I get out at all. D
