No waterph, I didn't intend to post to the Smith Lake Forum... Quite frankly, I wanted to see how long it would take you to find this post... Needless to say, you must have nothing better to do in life than cruise this site waiting to say something bad about Alabama Power. So you're wrong, I don't get "Easily Confused" If I did, I would have been one of the stupid fools that fell for SLISA's lies and deceptions and sent them money. Speaking of SLISA, IF and and it's a HUGE IF... They supported the health and warefare of the Lake, why did they disapear after they lost their bid to stop Alabama Power from running the lake the way they have for over 40 years? Seems to me, that SLISA could still be working closely together with RENEW our RIVERS in order to help the condition of the lake.
You asked if I ever attended a meeting or talked to one of the regular members? As a matter of fact, YES to both of those questions... It was extremely apparent from the first and ONLY meeting that I attended, that their main concern was to keep the levels above a certain level. WHY? that was easy to see(If you have an open mind!) Because the founding members own hundreds of acres and thousands of water frontage feet around the lake, that is "Seasonal" at the present rule curve. Raise the rule curve, and that seasonal water becomes year round... I guess you never looked at it that way, since you're so simple minded. Just imagine the difference in what that land is worth? Don't get me worng, I never had an issue with their "Hidden" agenda; That is, if they would have just stated it in the front end.. A blind man could see it.. Now go back to your computer and write some additional rubbish....
