Well, that thar ain't noting.
Years ago we'd had a long, hard drought. River kept getting smaller n smaller, finally all but totally dried up. Tell ya, got so bad pappy had me take some water down to the river bed and give the fish a spoonful of water just to keep em alive. Fishing wern't no fun. Just cast something wet in front of one of them fish, and they'd make a beeline right to it, stirring up dust all the way. Yep, sure was dry back then.
