I am planning a reunion for my brothers and I on Smith Lake next year (we grew up in Huntsville and use to come fishing on Smith 40 years ago).

Where is the best place for a quiet comfortable rental house on the lake for 3 people?  Also looking for recommendations on where to rent a boat for a week.

Lastly,  when should we plan on staying there to enjoy good fishing and temps that are not too hot?
