I have a 2012 Bass Buggy 18 and I cannot determine how to access the batteries. They are under the back bench seats but there is not a hinge on the seat so I can open it. I went to Bass Pro shops and asked the service manager but he said to bring it in. Thats a big expense and trouble just to check water in my batteries.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't own one but I found a test of your boat. If the battery is under the L shaped couch, then the hinges are in the front under the cushion. There is a strap attached to the back of the cushion to assist you in pulling it up. There is storage under the cushions. Check the test and you will see the seat with the straps in the back. Here is a quote from the test "An L-shaped couch with roto-molded base features deep padding and hides storage lockers." Scroll down the test and you will see the Lshaped seat with the staps in the back of the cushion. Hope this helps. Let us know.

HERE'S THE TEST

Thanks for your reponse. There are no hinges on the bench seat the battery box is under. The batteries are enclosed in a three sided box under the rear bench seat. I asked Bass Pro Shops service manager and he said I would have to bring it to the shop for a service call ($100?).

I guess I will have to unbolt the seat from the deck.

Make sure you look on the end and front of the seat for a fold down panel before taking it anywhere.  There is an access panel somewhere.  You do not have to remove the seat.  Not even bass tracker engineers that poorly.

I called Tracker and spoke to Teresa. in Customer Service. I explained your problem. She has a picture she can send you and can explain how to access the battery. Call her at 417-873-4555 or you can live chat at:

Where is this boat at?  If we have a service call in your area, I will be happy to stop by and help you.

Steve

thanks for the jester, but the boat is at Highland Lake in Blount county. I'm going to contact Bass Pro Shops customer service number tomorrow AM.

Thanks again for all the replies.

If the service manager wouldn't answer a simple question like that, they would never see the boat again if it were mine....good luck on your call.
