Just watched the Milwaukee-braves debacle. Poor Tim Hudson..the ace of the staff and a GREAT pitcher (even if he did go to AU) got skunked with no runs by his teammates.
My observation is the Braves have no leadership in the clubhouse. I have seen these streaky teams before and IMHO it's a composition problem with the team itself...not the manager.
Where is the Chipper? Terry Pendelton? I could go on. In an effort to assemble a computer miracle they ignored personalities. Is this Moneyball run aground?
they are built to be super streaky. Just as soon as they can't score runs against Milwaukee they will pound someone else for 3 games.
They also aren't built for the post-season.
Time to face facts. Heyward is a massive flop for a "5 tool guy". Even though BJ is starting to hit a little both Uptons are not guys to build around. Freeman is the bright spot from the regulars.
This is true but Hudson not having a win since May 5 says something else is going or not going on. We'll see what happens at the break. Maybe a trade..?
