Sadly it took 12 years

The really crappy part - One of the reasons they finally tossed was because the lawyer didnt file it correctly - not on grounds that he was being harassed for his beliefs, or being forced to do something against his faith.

“We granted review to determine, among other issues, whether [the attorney] properly filed [this] case,” the Colorado Supreme Court wrote in its opinion in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Scardina. “We conclude that [the attorney] did not.”
