We've had a lot of rain since early December, yet the Corps is not filling the lake.  The level is virtually unchanged.  Does anybody know why?

Somebody replied to me in private for some reason and he said:

"The reason is that we really haven''t had much rain. In fact, for the months from November 1 to the end of March, this is by far the lowest inflow to the lake since it was built - half of the previous record in 2007-2008, and less than one fifth of a normal good year."

And the local weathermen have confirmed that although Atlanta and most of Georgia had a good amount of rain this winter, parts of North Georgia had a severe drought and unfortunately that is Lake Lanier's watershed.
