our family has been with St Farm, autos, home, business since 1965; our youngest daughter, single, age 37, hospital employee is paying almost $75 monthly on her 2014 honda civic--never filed a claim; had 1 speeding ticket 1998; hate to change but trying to explore options for her-- any ideas ?

I am no expert and have State Farm also but have been concerned by a couple of articles I have read that the California fires may bankrupt them. Not sure what to make of that, but I have seen two diffferent articles saying pretty much the same thing.

Been with St farm x 10+ yrs for home and auto. I canceled them after they recently denied a water damage claim because it was "chronic" not acute although I reported it as soon as I found it ( shower pan leak not readily evident). Depending on your state, multiple quotes were hundreds of $ cheaper annually than State Farm including Progressive, Liberty Mutual, and AllState. Try the progressive website which actually compares multiple companies. Trade off, may not have a "local" agent, but my "local" State farm agent was of no help
