The Whiskeytown Lake Kokanee salmon fishing season is underway and the fishing is very good with full limits now being available.  I am catching Kokanee salmon in the 40'-50' range trolling Kokanee gear in the pink or orange color spectrum.  I have been trolling at 1.3-1.5 mph and that seems to be a good trolling speed for current conditions.  Look for the Kokanee to settle into deeper water as the lake water temps increase.  If you would like to book a Kokanee salmon fishing trip to learn more about fishing Whiskeytown Lake or to just spend a great day on the water fishing with friends or family, please give me a call @ (707) 616-1905 or visit my website @ www.jeffgoodwinfishing.com for contact info.  Tight lines!!
